Who we are

What we collect

• Anonymous player identifier: a random identifier created on your device so we recognize you from one game to the next. It is not linked to any account, email or phone number.
• First name or nickname, avatar, color: chosen by you, visible only to the players at your table.
• Game data: settings, scores and statistics of the game, kept for 13 months at most, then deleted.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and technical measurements (response times), without game content.

We use no advertising tracking, no advertising SDK, and never request tracking permission (ATT).

Why

To run the game (performance of the service) and improve it (legitimate interest: minimal usage statistics and crash fixing).

Where and for how long

Data is hosted in the European Union (Cloudflare Durable Objects and D1 located in the EU). Games are kept for 13 months at most; the player identifier stays on your device until you delete your data.

Your rights (GDPR)

Access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection: write to privacy@menteur.app. In the app, Settings → Delete my data erases your identifier, profile and preferences immediately. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

App Clip

The App Clip (joining a game without installing the app) uses the same data, stored in a space shared with the app so your profile is kept if you install it later. The clip’s ephemeral notifications (“Your turn!”) expire after 8 hours.

Minors

Menteur! is for people aged 18 and over. An alcohol-free points mode is available to everyone.
